New Brewery Opens With Military Flair in Fredericksburg
The '6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company' is owned by U.S. military veterans. The menu will expand as things get rolling; beer is plentiful.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Yet another brewery is now open, and this one is owned and operated by six U.S. Coast Guard veterans, as well as a U.S. Navy veteran — all retired.
Thus the name: "6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company." The goat represents the Navy; the bears, the Coast Guard.
It's at 1140 International Parkway and although it's now open, it's still something of a work in progress.

As of now, it's open Thursday-Sunday with a hearty selection of beer but a bit less so on the food front, with a limited selection of sandwiches.
But on its Facebook Page, it says the kitchen should be finished by spring, which will lead to a much meatier menu.
