New Chipotle With Drive-Thru Lane Comes To Fredericksburg This Month
Fredericksburg's newest Chipotle restaurant, on Plank Road, will include a "Chipotlane" drive-thru offering when it opens this month.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg's newest Chipotle restaurant is slated to open later this month, a Chipotle spokesperson told Patch. The new facility on Plank Road will include a drive-thru lane.
Chipotle did not offer a specific opening date, but said it expects to be open by the end of the month. The new restaurant is located at 5621 Plank Road.
The drive-thru lane, known as "Chipotlane," differs from a traditional fast food restaurant. Customers will not be able to place orders at the drive-thru window, but they can pick up orders that they already placed online.

A Chipotle spokesperson said the new restaurant will create about 25 jobs. The location is still hiring for a variety of positions. The spokesperson noted that employee benefits include a bonus program, college tuition assistance, and mental healthcare.
