New Coffeehouse Opening On Fredericksburg's Princess Anne Street

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Agora Downtown announced last week it plans to open its second location in Fredericksburg, according to Fredericksburg Economic Development & Tourism. The new space at 1517 Princess Anne St. formerly housed Billingsley Printing.

Agora’s second location will be known as Canal Quarter Coffee, and also plans to house Canal Quarter Arts, which consists of a pottery studio run by Lawton Clites as well as other artist studios run by Jeannie Ellis, owner of Darbytown Art Studio at 241 Charles St.

Canal Quarter Coffee is expected to be open by December with a possible earlier opening of Canal Quarter Arts.

Agora's original location is at 520 Caroline St.
