New Long John Silver's Coming To Fredericksburg
A new Long John Silver's location will be added onto an existing Popeye's restaurant in Fredericksburg, city officials said.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Another Long John Silver's location is coming to the City of Fredericksburg. The new facility will be added onto an existing Popeye's restaurant on Plank Road, city officials said.
Earlier this month, another Long John Silver's opened its doors in the city. Upon its opening, the fast fish drive-thru saw dozens of cars.
Food fanatics in the Taste of Fredericksburg Facebook group reported waiting nearly an hour for their taste of Long John Silver's fried fish.

The new facility will be located at 1851-1853 Plank Road. The Popeye's that is already there will remain open.
City officials said the new Long John Silver's would occupy about 2,000 square feet. There is no current timetable for the new restaurant, but the a blog post from the city said construction is expected to start soon.
