New PAC Contracts for Billboard on Route 1 in Stafford
11 Years of Wittman: We Are Not Better Off Now!

Progress4VA1, an independent expenditure only political action committee (PAC), has purchased and contracted with Lamar for a road-side billboard that will be displayed the entire month of October 2018 alongside Route 1 at Centerport Parkway in Stafford, VA. The billboard shows animation of backed-up traffic being blocked by a Republican elephant. It includes the words… 11 Years of Wittman: We Are Not Better Off Now! #FireWittman – Vote Vangie Nov. 6.
“We’re hoping that this is just the start,” said John Dileo, Progress4VA1 Chair. “If we can raise enough funding, we plan to display many more billboards with different messages, such as healthcare, education, racism, and the environment and climate change. Our purpose is to inform voters about Congressman Rob Wittman’s lack of leadership and action.” Folks can contribute to Progress4VA1 and help the PAC erect more billboards by visiting https://secure.actblue.com/donate/progress4va1-1.
Wittman has been in Congress for 11 years and has only sponsored and passed five pieces of legislation. Three of these bills named or renamed a federal facility like a post office. One was related to the defense industry, and the other one clarified Chesapeake Bay Watershed language, which passed the House on a voice vote and was signed by President Obama. “Only two substantive bills in 11 years,” Dileo stated. “We do not call that leadership. We do not call that ‘Working for all Virginians.’ If you want someone who will truly work for ALL Virginians, vote for Vangie Williams on Nov. 6.”
