New Polling Place For Some Fredericksburg Voters In April 21 Special Election
Ward 4 Precinct 2 voters who usually vote at the VFW will cast ballots at the Fredericksburg library.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg election officials announced a polling place change for some city voters ahead of the April 21 special election.
Voters in Ward 4 Precinct 2 who normally vote at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, or VFW, will vote instead at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library-Fredericksburg Branch, 1201 Caroline St.
The Fredericksburg Office of Voter Registration and Elections said the change applies only to the April 21 special election and is the only polling place change for that election. The office announced the update Monday in a notice to voters.

The notice also advised voters about activity at the voting location on Election Day. According to the announcement, April 21 is a regular school day for those locations, and students will be present in the building throughout the day. To help keep the day safe and orderly, visitors are expected to maintain appropriate decorum while on school property.
The office said clear directional signage will be placed to guide voters to the appropriate polling area. Visitors also are being asked to follow all posted signs to minimize disruption to the school day.
