New Veteran-Owned Chick-Fil-A Now Open In Stafford County
A new Chick-fil-A, operated by a U.S. Army veteran who has also taught middle schoolers, is now open in Stafford County.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A new Chick-fil-A opened its doors in Stafford County on Thursday. The facility is located at 30 Wyche Road and is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A's corporate leaders selected Terrell Daniel as the owner and operator of the new restaurant. Daniel is a U.S. Army veteran who has also worked as a middle school teacher.
Daniel says he was drawn to Chick-fil-A due to the community centered activities of the business. In celebration of the grand opening, Chick-fil-A donated $25,000 to Feeding America to help support people in need in the region.

Additionally, the Stafford restaurant is giving free food for a year to 100 "local heroes," the company said.
"Service is at the heart of what we do at Chick-fil-A, and the opportunity to serve those who have given so much for our nation is a cause close to my heart,” Daniel said in a . “We also look forward to creating a place for families to enjoy a meal together, and we hope this new restaurant serves as a home away from home for our community.”

Chick-fil-A also said Daniel's restaurant would be participating in their "Shared Table" program. Surplus food from the new restaurant will be donated to local shelters and food banks.
The new Chick-fil-A will employ about 100 people, the brand said.
