Northern Virginia Weather: After Windy Start, Nice Week Ahead

STERLING, VA—Following a windy start, Northern Virginia's work-week weather is expected to present lots of sunshine with temperatures actually flirting with 70 a couple of times. That's the word from the National Weather Service and other area forecasting outlets.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang says conditions for Halloween "look nearly ideal for outdoor candy hunting. High pressure will be firmly in place by midweek, which means we will have plenty of sunshine, little wind and temperatures in the upper 60s."
