STERLING, VA—Here's the no-nonsense skinny concerning Northern Virginia's weather forecast for the coming week: There's at least a chance of seeing a decent amount of sun nearly every day. Such a relatively grand proclamation comes courtesy of the National Weather Service and other forecasting outlets that make it a point to know such things.
If you were to somehow pretend that last week's run of rain never happened, this week might not loom so inviting. But it did and it does. Besides, staying positive these days is a plus, as the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang points out: "The early outlook for Thursday and Friday is dry, sunny and warm, so at least there’s hope."
