STERLING, VA—Norther Virginia's weather forecast for the week ahead offers a bit of everything except certainty, according to the National Weather Service and other forecasting outlets. As pointed out by the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang, ". . .the next couple of days look unsettled at times, as a storm system cranks up in the middle part of the country, sending us some warmth but also plenty of shower chances through midweek."
That would be Wednesday and Thursday, which look like they'll provide the best chances for a decent amount of sun. After Tuesday, lows through the week should be in the 40s. Here's the detailed forecast from the National Weather Service's local office in Sterling:

Monday Night: A chance of showers after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 54. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
