Northern Virginia Weekend Weather: Clouds Be Gone
Following something a dreary run of rain, things could be changing just in time for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
STERLING, VA — Now that two days of mostly drenching rain is nearly done (there's a 20 percent chance showers today and tonight), the weekend is shaping up to include lots of sun with highs in the 80s and lows in the mid 60s. That's the word from area branch of the National Weather Service in Sterling.
Saturday still holds a slight chance of showers, with possibly an isolated thunderstorm but is expected to be partly sunny. Sunday, meanwhile, looks great. Mostly sunny skies are forecast with highs in the low to mid 80s. Ditto for Sunday night and Monday. Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:
