STERLING, VA—Northern Virginia's weekend weather forecast pretty much is the same one we've had throughout the past week, which, in a word, is delightful. Yes, it may be a bit on the warm side but this, after all, is the middle of summer. As it is, according to the National Weather Service and other area forecasting outlets, look for loads of sunshine and high temperatures in the low 90s—if that.
Although a smattering of clouds are expected to move in Sunday, don't expect a lot of them. All in all, the good times will roll for the next few days, but alas, as the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang points out, "then it’s pure summer for a few days as moisture levels rise and storm risks return."
