Northern Virginia Weekend Weather: Perfect For Pools, Beach, Everything Outdoors

STERLING, VA — Let's get straight to the point. Namely, the weekend forecast is, in a word, spectacular. Hot? Yes. But sunny? Oh, yeah. That's the word from the area branch of the National Weather Service in Sterling.

Both Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Lows both nights should be in the low 70s. Not only that, but this spate of cloud-free weather is projected to continue well into the work week.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 96.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 74.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
