Northern Virginia Weekend Weather: One Little Snow Threat

STERLING, VA—Northern Virginia's weekend weather forecast calls for an incredibly scant chance of snow on Saturday but otherwise offers a pretty nice stretch, according to the area outlet of the National Weather Service in Sterling and other folks paid to pay attention to such things.

Saturday? Most outlets call it for looking OK. The caveat, from WRC (Channel 4): "We are watching a system slipping to the south of our region for Saturday afternoon/overnight. If it stays on this southern course, our region should be free of precipitation however, if it edges north, our southern tier counties, locations closer to Central Virginia, could potentially have some light winter weather on Saturday night into Sunday morning."
