STERLING, VA — There's little not to like about Northern Virginia's first weekend weather forecast of December, according to the National Weather Service's satellite center in Sterling. You're looking at a scant chance of rain with highs in the 50s and lows in the mid to upper 30s.

Saturday offers a few clouds but also spots of sunshine with light winds. That's expected to give way to a near-perfect Sunday for this time of the year, with abundant sunshine and a high around 55. Here's the detailed forecast from the National Weather Service:
