Northern Virginia Weekend Weather: A Welcome Visitor

STERLING, VA—All things considered, Northern Virginia's weekend weather forecast carries a darn fine outlook, with the only real chance of rain a teeny one today (Saturday). For the most part, though, expect two days of extended sunshine. That's the word from the National Weather Service and other area forecasting outlets.

If there's a caveat, it's this, as noted by the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang: "There will probably still be clouds around at times, but nothing significant. Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
