Olde Towne Butcher Expansion Progressing in Fredericksburg

It's doubling the size of its kitchen to offer a wider variety of meats and prepared food. The owner is hoping to have it ready by spring.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The expansion of Olde Towne Butcher, 401 Williams Street, remains a work in progress but owner Keith Lebor is looking toward spring as a probable opening date.

"I mean, I wanted to be open last Thanksgiving but we're still doing construction," Lebor said Friday. "I want to say spring, or at least by summer."

He's expanding into the basement that used to be Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen, which closed last year, and is doubling the size of the kitchen to provide a wider variety of deli products and prepared food.
