Pair With Child Passenger Arrested For Heroin in Stafford: Police

Two people with heroin-filled syringes and a 4-year-old passenger were arrested Friday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — Two people with heroin-filled syringes in their vehicle, in which a 4-year-old boy was found in the back seat, were arrested Friday night, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Jessica Ann Greene, 32, and Robert Lee Jett, Jr., both of Tetotum Road in King George, were charged with child endangerment, possession of controlled paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances.

Shortly after 9 p.m., an officer on patrol near the Valero at 620 Cambridge Street saw a suspicious van parked in the rear of the store.

The officer approached, asked permission to search the vehicle, and found two "loaded" uncapped syringes. Greene admitted they were loaded with heroin.

The boy was released to the custody of a family member.
