Parts of I-95 Closed Tuesday and Wednesday Night in Fredericksburg: VDOT

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Parts of I-95 will be closed in both directions next Tuesday and Wednesday night near mile marker 131 from 9 p.m.-5 a.m., according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The work is being done for the new Fall Hill Avenue overpass.

Here's the schedule:

Tuesday, Feb. 7 and Wednesday, Feb. 8
I-95 Northbound at mile marker 131 (Fall Hill Avenue)

• Double lane closure 9 p.m. ˗˗ 1 a.m.

I-95 Southbound at mile marker 131 (Fall Hill Avenue)

• Double lane closure 1 a.m. ˗˗ 5 a.m.
• All lanes reopen to traffic by 5 a.m.

Message boards will warn travelers to stay alert for work zones ahead and possible delays.
