Passenger Steers Vehicle of Stricken Driver in Stafford: Police

A woman pulling out of her driveway passed out, leaving the passenger to steer to car to safety, says the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — A woman who had some sort of seizure while pulling out of her driveway Monday afternoon and then passed out, leaving her passenger to steer the car to the side of road was arrested after police found cocaine on her in the 500 block of White Oak Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Cullen Rae Jones, 40, of White Oak Road in Stafford, was charged with possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, possession of controlled paraphernalia and having no driver's license.

Shortly after 4 p.m., police arrived at the scene and rescue personnel told them the woman they were treating had narcotics on her. The woman, who was treated at a local hospital before going to jail, admitted to police she was holding cocaine.

Police then searched the residence and found marijuana along with other paraphernalia.
