Patricia “Pat” Etzell, 67, of Fredericksburg departed this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease and Uterine Cancer.
She is survived by her loving brother, Steve Etzell and his wife, Sharon; her nephew Matthew Etzell; numerous cousins; and lifelong friend, Cathleen O’Connor McGraw and her husband, Bob.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Maurice and Martha Etzell and her beloved niece, Laura Marie Etzell. During her professional life Pat was a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee, the National Breast Cancer Coalition and the Alzheimer’s Association. Pat grew up in Arlington, Virginia and enjoyed the theater, ballet and loved to dance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Coalition or the Alzheimer’s Association.
