STAFFORD,VA—A boy who punched a female in the face and left her lying on the ground with a chipped tooth outside an Applebee's at 1000 Stafford Marketplace was arrested Wednesday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. He was charged with felonious assault and possession of marijuana, and is being held at the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.

Around 3:30 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported fight and found a female on the ground crying with her assailant standing nearby. Witnesses said two males were fighting in the parking lot, and a female was standing between them trying to break it up before she was slugged.

That's when the assailant ran inside the Applebee's and came back outside with a knife while the other guy was leaving the scene in his vehicle. While the female was being treated, police noticed she had a swollen lip and a chipped tooth. She confirmed the witnesses' story.
