Phyllis Jane “Crabbie” Cooper, 72, of Stafford County died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Cooper was a school bus monitor for Stafford County for 20 years. She worked at A&P Grocery and Johnson’s Supermarket. She enjoyed search a word, grocery shopping, cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Horace Cooper; son, Earl “Russ” Cooper (Laura); daughter, Sherry Cooper (Willie Sedoris); two brothers, Alfred Pitts and Claude Pitts Jr.; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Chad, Nicholas, Brooke, Ashley, Kim and Willie Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Lexie and Jason.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, September 21 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at Noon Monday, September 22 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
