The body of a 25-year-old Fredericksburg resident was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head Saturday morning, hours after police had initially responded to a call of shots fired in the area, according to Fredericksburg Police.
The victim has been identified as Tesean Jemel Dorsey. He was apparently killed by a single shot to the head and appeared to have been shot while he was sleeping, according to police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe.

At 8 a.m., an officer on the scene investigating for further clues was approached by one of the same residents, reporting that he had just discovered Dorsey’s body in his bedroom.
