Police: Green Thumbs Stealing Flower Pots

A new round of thefts in Fredericksburg suggest thieves are looking for some curb appeal.

An otherwise uneventful Thursday daily incident report from Fredericksburg City Police offers only these two nuggets.

A Saunders Drive resident contacted police at 7 a.m. Wednesday when a planter was found missing from the front porch.

And, at 10 p.m., a few blocks away on Brigadier Drive, a resident reported that a flower pot with flowers had been stolen from her front porch.

There are no suspects at this time.
