Police Issue Amber Alert for Child Abduction in Virginia

Father, son may be in 2001 Navy Blue Dodge Neon 4D, Virginia tag WNZ-9169; Tommy, age 3, is 3 feet tall, weighs 35 pounds with blonde hair.

The Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an Amber Alert for a child abduction on behalf of the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office in Critz, Va., according to a news release from the Virginia State Police.

The Sheriff’s Office is searching for Tommy Lee Able Engle, described as a white male, age 3 years old, height 3 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds. The boy has blue eyes and short blonde hair.

The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen at 367 Oak Hill Lane in Critz, Va. The child is likely abducted by his father Tommy Lee Travis Engle, a white male age 34 years old, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

They may be traveling in a 2001 Navy Blue Dodge Neon 4D, tag number WNZ-9169.

If you see them, contact Patrick County Sheriff’s Office AT (276) 694-3161 or Virginia State Police at 1-800-822-4453 (1-800-VACHILD). If located, do not approach. Immediately call local law enforcement.
