Update: Missing Police K-9 Located Safely In Stafford County
A police dog that went missing in Stafford County on Tuesday was located safely, the sheriff's office said.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A police dog went missing on Tuesday in Stafford County, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
The dog, a bloodhound named Ruby, was located safely. Authorities said she went missing near Guy Lane and Mountain View Road.

The sheriff's office did not say what circumstances led to Ruby's disappearance.
Ruby joined the Stafford County Sheriff's Office in March 2021. A trained bloodhound, Ruby helps authorities find suspects and missing people.
