Police: Man Accused of Holiday Crime Spree
Eight break-ins over the long holiday weekend in Marion, S.C., allegedly linked to Fredericksburg man, according to police.

MARION, S.C. — A Fredericksburg man is facing charges in eight burglaries in Marion over the holiday weekend while visiting family in South Carolina, according to a Florence Morning News report.
Sean Patrick Burke of 52 Kings Hill Rd, Fredericksburg, faces seven counts of burglary first degree, five counts of theft from motor vehicle, malicious damage to property and burglary second degree.
“Burke had just arrived in town to visit family the night of Dec. 25 and began his crime spree shortly thereafter,” Marion Police Chief Dewayne Tennie told the paper.

Burke was allegedly seen on video surveillance at one home. He was arrested for disorderly conduct early Sunday morning after an officer spotted him outside of the home where he was staying.
A search of the home and Burke’s car allegedly led to the recovery of four stolen firearms, knives, money, jewelry, and medication.
