Police: Man Found After Jumping From Car

Located: Herndon man had last been seen Monday night walking south along Interstate 95, according to Virginia State Police.

A search for a missing man last seen after he jumped out of a car on Interstate 95 in Fredericksburg ended with the man located safe.

A Fredericksburg Police officer found Fredy Eduardo Corrales-Gonzalez on Wednesday morning while responding to a call of a suspicious person at a hotel near the interstate, according to Virginia State Police spokesperson Sergeant F. L. Tyler.

Corrales-Gonzalez, 26, of Herndon was last seen Monday evening after he jumped out of the car and began walking south along the northbound lanes of the interstate.

State police issued a public call for assistance Tuesday night after officers had spent 24 hours searching for the man.

A state trooper has transported Corrales-Gonzalez to Stafford Hospital as a precautionary measure, according to Tyler.
