Police: Missing Motorist Last Seen on Route 1

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg City Police is hoping the public will help locate a missing man.

George Shields was last seen driving north on Route 1 near the intersection of Cowan Boulevard. He was driving his 1997 green Ford Taurus with VA tags VANNA97.

Shields is 80. He is 5’10”, 170 lbs. with blue eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing an orange sweatshirt, blue jeans and possibly brown shoes.
