Police: Overnight Grocery Break-In Downtown

Suspect description comes on surveillance video, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

Investigators are looking for a young man responsible for a commercial break-in downtown on Tuesday morning, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.

At 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to Nader’s Grocery at 508 Caroline Street.

An unknown person had broken the glass in the front door and stole merchandise.

Surveillance video shows the incident. Police describe the suspect as a white male, 18-21 years of age, 5’9” and 140 lbs. He was wearing a white or light gray hooded sweatshirt with a zipper and dark colored pants.
