Police: Someone Busts Into Home, Leaves Stuff
It's not your usual burglary. Plus, law office window shattered, tires punctured and more recent police calls.

The victim in a recent home break-in didn’t lose anything — he actually found stuff that isn’t his, according to Fredericksburg City Police.
The city resident arrived home at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Charles Street.
The man found his front door had been kicked in by an unknown person.

When he went upstairs, he found items in the house that didn’t belong to him, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.

Vandalism:
Costanzo, Attorney at Law, 1418 Princess Anne Street, 9/14, 8:30 a.m. A city resident reported that an unknown person shattered a window of the business. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Road, 9/15, 10:45 p.m. A Spotsylvania County resident reported that an unknown person punctured holes into three tires on his work vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Larceny:
Parthenon Restaurant, 2024 Augustine Avenue, 9/15, 9:00 p.m. A city resident reported that he left his bicycle unattended outside of the restaurant for 10 minutes and, when he returned, his bicycle was gone. The bicycle is a blue and white NEXT mountain bike with a Schwinn rack on the back. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
