Registered Sex Offender Arrested At Stafford School Bus Stop: Police

A registered sex offender was arrested in Stafford on Tuesday after police said he was "hanging around" a school bus stop.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Authorities said they arrested a registered sex offender near a school bus stop in Stafford County on Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff's office said deputies arrested Teddy Morrow after he was found to be "hanging around" a school bus stop.

Deputies responded to the scene at the pavilion on Hidden Lake Drive around 3 p.m. on Tuesday. A caller reported to police that Morrow was a registered sex offender who was loitering at the bus stop.

When deputies contacted Morrow, he provided false information, the sheriff's office claimed. Deputies checked the DMV record to look at his photo and confirmed his identity and his status on the sex offender registry.
