Rescue Me: Celine Is A 7-Year-Old Sweetie Of A Cat

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Celine, a 7-year-old cat at the Fredericksburg SPCA, is ready to find a forever home of her own. This senior sweetie could be a perfect addition to your home.

"New Year's celebrations should be a black & white tie event, so January 3 - 7, all black-and-white animals 7 months and older will have fee-waived adoptions," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "We want you to start off the new year looking and feeling your best, and in Celine's opinion, a little fur will go a long way!"

Celine is currently in foster care, but she's still eligible for the fee-waived adoption event. Interested families should apply by Jan. 7.

This confident queen is comfortable in new environments. She loves a good cardboard scratcher and will use them for her pretty paws and also lay on them like a throne," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "If you are looking for the perfect lap cat, this is your gal!"

Celine has a gorgeous mane, so she can be won over with a good brush.

"She is super chill, and just wants to hang near you and curl up in your lap if you'll let her," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "She is perfect for someone who wants a relaxed, cuddly friend around the house."
