Rescue Me: Clovis The Dog Loves A Snow Day And Treats
Clovis, a dog who is now available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA, loves his treats and can learn just about anything.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Clovis, a dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA, is ready to join a family of his own. He gets along well with other dogs, but he would do best in a home without cats.
"No one can argue the fact that this is one handsome fella," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "A young puppy, Clovis is eager to show those around him just how well-mannered and smart he is."
Clovis has been working with the SPCA's behavior department. There, they've learned that Clovis is very food motivated.

"Clovis will do anything for treats, so rewarding his behavior is easy," the SPCA said.
Even if you already have a dog in your family, there may be room for Clovis. SPCA officials said he has done well in meetings with other dogs.

"He loves to play with other dogs in playgroups at the SPCA and takes correction from them very well," the SPCA said. "His playstyle was described as tolerant and respectful, so if you have a dog pal in the home and would like to grow your family, schedule a meet and greet with Clovis."
Anyone interested in learning more about Clovis or other adoptable cats and dogs can find more information on the Fredericksburg SPCA's website. Anyone looking to schedule a meeting with Clovis can email the SPCA at matchmakers@fredspca.org.
