Rescue Me: Don't Let The Name Fool You, Grizzly Bear Is A Sweet Cat

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Grizzly Bear is a 2-year-old cat up for adoption at the Fredericksburg SPCA. He's now ready to find a forever home who will let him watch cat TV and enjoy a box fort.

As the SPCA's pet of the week, Grizzly Bear's adoption fee will be waived through Saturday.

"He's a laid-back cat who enjoys the company of his other feline friends at the SPCA. The best thing about him is how easily he makes friends," the SPCA said. "He doesn't hog the spotlight and is often found acting as a snuggly pillow for the other cats in the room."

Grizzly Bear is a typical cat; if he fits, he sits.

"If you're a household that gets lots of deliveries, those boxes can easily be turned into cat currency with Grizzly," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "His favorite activities include watching cat tv from one of his many recycled box forts."
