Rescue Me: Eddie The Dog Is A Senior Sweetheart

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Eddie is a 10-year-old dog now available for adoption at the Fredericksburg SPCA. He is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years.

"With enough energy for some play, Eddie is mostly a man of relaxation. Lounging and snoozing the day away, he loves ear rubs and getting his back scratched," the SPCA said. If you need a good laugh Eddie is a master at 'sploots,'so finding him sleeping like a frog will always put a smile on your face."

Eddie's foster family reports that he is sweet, calm, and affectionate.

"his senior sweetheart is mellow on walks and will be happy to show you a few of the tricks he's learned throughout his life like sit and shake," the SPCA said. "He is a true people pleaser and is reportedly potty trained, going to the door when he has an important 'business meeting' outside."
