Rescue Me: Edward The Dog Is A Cancer Survivor Who Needs A Home
Edward, a 9-year-old dog available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA, is now healthy and ready to find his forever home.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Edward is a 9-year-old dog who survived cancer. Now, the Fredericksburg SPCA is helping him find a forever home of his own.
"Edward is looking to lean into the good life - he just needs help to find his people," the Fredericksburg SPCA told Patch. "His adoption fee has been waived to help him find his retirement home!"
Edward is social and friendly, according to staff at the SPCA. He woos people with his personality and presence.

"His love language is expressed through play and treats. Expect to add a bucket of tennis balls to your household items, which are his absolute favorite," the SPCA said. "He will do pretty much anything for food and is eager to show you 'sit' and 'paw' in exchange for snacks."

Whoever adopts Edward will receive their option of two free SPCA behavioral sessions, a $360 value, or a free group class, which is a $150 value.
"Besides having the most boopable snoot on the block, Edward loves meeting new people and makes friends easily," the SPCA said.
