Rescue Me: Emmy Is A Young Pup Who Could Be Your 'Heart Dog'

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — An energetic young dog is available for adoption now at the Fredericksburg SPCA. Emmy, who is a one-and-a-half years old, is a very social pup with a winning smile.

"We think Emmy is someone's heart dog," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "she just hasn't found her person yet!"

During her time at the SPCA, Emmy has shown her impeccable social skills. She has enjoyed spending time with other dogs at the SPCA's play yards during group sessions, especially when they can match her energy level.

"If you've got a dog at home who needs a friend to expend some energy with, Emmy could be a match," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "Being a young gal, Emmy is playful, fun, energetic and loves the outdoors."

Like most dogs, Emmy also holds a steadfast appreciation for snacks and snuggles.

"This smiley girl loves a good snuggle session," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "So bring the blankets and extra popcorn to the couch when you're ready to marathon your favorite series."
