Rescue Me: Flower The Dog Is Ready To Put Down Roots
Flower is a 1-year-old dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA. She celebrated her first birthday this week and is ready to find a forever home.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Flower is a 1-year-old dog who is available for adoption at the Fredericksburg SPCA. Flower celebrated her first birthday this week with shelter volunteers, but she's ready to find a forever home where she can put down roots.
Flower has been homeless and staying with the SPCA since February. Though she enjoys spending time with shelter volunteers and other dogs, she would love to join a family of her own.
"She is a happy girl with a very loving heart," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "She loves being around people and showering them in love."

Flower would also be a great addition to a home that already has a dog. She's a social creature who is playful as can be.
"She is a rockstar in our doggy shelter playgroups and tires out all of her dog pals here with all of her energy," the SPCA said. "So if you have a dog in your home that you are looking to get a buddy for, Flower might be a great fit."
