Rescue Me: Natalie Has Thrived With A Foster, But Needs A Forever Home

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Natalie is a 4-year-old dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA who has thrived in a foster home, but she is ready to find her forever home.

Natalie's foster family said she fits in swimmingly at their home. "They report that she is a laid-back, gentle girl and just the sweetest of all puppers," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "This 4-year-old has integrated herself fully into 'the pack life' and gets along great with her foster siblings."

Natalie is so friendly that the Fredericksburg SPCA hopes she finds a home with another dog to be her pal. Natalie has had no interest in the cats at her foster home. She is also great with children.

"She currently plays nonstop with her foster brother and their current favorite activities include chasing each other around the backyard and playfully barking at squirrels," the SPCA said. "Miss Natalie does well on a leash! When she's hesitant of new places, a little bit of patience goes a long way with her, and she soon walks like a pro!"

The SPCA reported that Natalie is crate trained and has had no issues when her foster family has to leave the house.
