FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Pork Rind a staff-favorite dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA. Now, this 6-year-old pup is ready to find his forever home in time for the holidays.

"At 6 years old, he doesn't need much — a nice comfy spot on the couch with a blanket and a squeaky toy," the Fredericksburg SPCA told Patch. "Throw in treat time and that pretty much sums up Pork Rind's best day ever."

Pork Rind is a minor celebrity at the SPCA, he often hangs out during staff meetings, accepting butt scratches and spreading joy.

"When he's finished accepting all the love and can see the bottom of the food bowl, Pork Rind will take his blanket to his favorite spot on the couch and curl up for an afternoon nap," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "He is a fan of walks, so if you're looking to get outside for the new year Pork Rind is happy to be your walking buddy!"
