Rescue Me: Pupcake Is A Sweetheart Who Loves To Snuggle

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Pupcake is a 4-year-old dog available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA. With a floppy ear and a heart of gold, Pupcake would be the perfect addition to almost any home.

"Pupcake is all the sweetness of a pup and a cupcake rolled into one," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "She has lots of love to share and will greet you with her wiggly tail and a ball to throw."

Pupcake is easygoing and adaptable. She's crate trained and easily persuaded with a peanut butter-filled toy.

"As much as this 4-year-old loves her toys, she is even fonder of cuddling on the couch with her humans," the SPCA told Patch. "Her previous foster home said she didn't chew anything that wasn't her toys and that she was great with using the potty outside."

Pupcake is food-motivated, so she can pick up tricks quickly with the rights treats as a reward. The SPCA noted that she already knows "sit" and is close to mastering "shake." They also noted that Pupcake does well with large dogs, but she should not go to a home with smaller dogs.
