Rescue Me: Sweet Pea Is A Dog Who Is Eager To Please

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Pea is a 2-year-old dog now available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA. She is ready to find a forever home of her own.

" If zoomies were an Olympic sport, we are certain Pea would take home the gold," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "She has enjoyed doggy playgroups at the shelter with our Behavior Coordinator and animal care staff!"

Pea loves to bounce around and chase the other dogs at the shelter. She also has an appreciation for toys, especially if they squeak.

"Besides her gorgeous good looks, she is a very intelligent pup," the SPCA said. "She's already learned 'sit' and is eager to learn more."

Pea is treat motivated, which makes her easy to teach. Staff members described her as playful, affectionate, and "the wiggliest."
