Rescue Me: Thistle Is A Talkative Kitty Who Knows What She Wants

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Thistle is a talkative young cat. The 1-year-old is available for adoption now through the Fredericksburg SPCA.

When Thistle arrived at the SPCA several months ago, she was "prickly," the SPCA said. She did not do well in the shelter environment.

When a foster family took Thistle in, she began to blossom.

"While she can remain a little prickly around getting unsolicited attention, she is very communicative when she wants the pets," the SPCA said. "She is very confident and knows exactly what she wants so you'll never have to wonder - communication is her love language. She is vocal and loves to talk! She can gab on and on, so you'll never be lonely."

Thistle is treat motivated; she has solved puzzle feeders to get to food.
