Rescue Me: Tootsie Roll Is A Cat Who Needs A Home
Tootsie Roll's kittens have already been adopted. Now, Tootise Roll is looking for a home to call her own.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Tootsie Roll, a cat who has mothered at least two kittens, is now looking for a home of her own. She is available for adoption now through the Fredericksburg SPCA.
Tootsie Roll is about 2 years old, the SPCA estimates. She originally came to the shelter with her two kittens, who have each been adopted already.
Tootsie Roll and her kittens were transferred to the SPCA from a "high-kill county," the SPCA said. When they arrived at the shelter, the two kittens required treatment for Ringworm, which they received at the SPCA's Locke Community Medical Center.

The kittens found homes of their own after completing their Ringworm treatment. Now, it's Tootsie Roll's turn.
"Tootsie has blossomed with the TLC of our foster families and staff," the SPCA said. "She enjoys a good perch to loaf around on, watching and waiting for people to visit her in her condo at the SPCA."

Tootsie is a vocal cat, who isn't afraid to use her words if she wants some attention. She can also be bribed by visitors who bring a toy for her to play with.
The SPCA noted that Tootsie is calm and confident with other cats. So, she could be a great addition to a family with a cat who needs a friend.
