Rescue Me: Whiskey The Cat Is 'Bold But Smooth'

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Whiskey abandoned his life as a street cat. Now, he is available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA.

Whiskey has enjoyed all the creature comforts in life in his new foster home. He has enjoyed air conditioning, and the SPCA said he'll love space heaters during the winter.

"He is VERY food and treat-motivated," the SPCA said. "Once he gets a sniff of who you are, a couple of treats, and some ear scratches, he is butter in your hands!"

"He is a sweet boy who is looking for a safe home where he can soak in all of the love he missed the first half of his life," the Fredericksburg SPCA told Patch. "He'll take all the soft sleeping spots you can offer."
