Richard Francis Dietz, 68

Richard Francis Dietz, 68, of Locust Grove, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Survivors include his sons, John R. Dietz, Grant W. Dietz (Katey), and Brian P. Dietz; granddaughter Riley Eleanor Dietz; sister Carol Schmidt (Ted); uncle Dave Evans (Gloria); nephews Michael Schmidt and Matthew Schmidt; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Dietz and his parents, Francis and Mary Dietz.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 30 at Fredericksburg Baptist Church.

A memorial service will also be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 5 at Christ Episcopal Church, Luray.
