Rita Bell Blair, 69

Rita Bell Blair, 69, of Spotsylvania County passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Blair enjoyed quilting, cooking, canning and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gordon “Ed” Blair; seven children Denise Whipple, Dennis Woltz, Sarah Mathews, Roy Potter, Renita Potter, Raymond L. Potter, Jr. and Rita A. Albritton; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Buford Mullins; and three sisters Pauline Walters, Barbara Conard and Arbutus Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents Farley and Nellie Mullins; three brothers; and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 12 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 13 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
