Rosalie Ann Galyen, 57

Rosalie Ann Galyen, 57, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 at her home.

Ms. Galyen had worked as a nurse at Rappahannock Regional jail and Mary Washington Hospital. She enjoyed crochet, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, April Gaddy (Paul) and Tommy Payne (Stephanie); brothers, Michael L. Galyen, Charlie Squires and John Squires; sisters, Cathy G. Hairfield, Beatrice Spindle and Laurie Squires; grandchildren Emma Payne, Cayleigh Payne and Olivia Spindle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Galyen and Patricia Squires; and her, sister Donna Makoutz.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends until 4:30 p.m. following the service.
